Today marks one month to Fashion Week, one month until I move back to my beloved NYC, and one month closer to the cooler weather. Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love it for its breezy, chilled mornings/ evenings, and sunny daytime hours. I love it for the sense of starting anew— back to school, back to work, back to a routine. And, I love it for the fashion— layers, cozy fabrics, boots, and makeup that won’t sweat off!
See what I love about these pieces and how I would incorporate them into my wardrobe, if money was no object.
This DVF blouse is one of those blouses I would reach for on any occasion. A silk shirt is a timeless piece and this hue of rose/rust seriously looks good on every skin tone.
Leather is making a comeback in a major way and this Nanette Lepore leather skirt is no exception. Equal parts girly and modern make this little number hard to resist.
You all know how I love blue jewels, and this K. Amato necklace takes a lapis-blue with gold-goodness to brighten up a plain t-shirt or top off a work outfit.
Ok, Ok, I know how expensive this Tom Ford bronzer is, but I’ve been watching some YouTube makeup tutorials that tell me it’s worth every penny. I could really justify the purchase by explaining the massive disk of bronzer will last 2 summers and then some…Talk about Cost per Wear, I’m sold.
Have you ever seen a more stunning shoe? I’m dying over these laser-cut nude leather Sergio Rossi heels that could make even the least camera-ready feet look like pieces of art.
