Shoes.

With Fashion Week just around the corner, I have been musing over ideas for outfits to wear to the shows. An updated pair of shoes has the power elevate every day basics. Did you know these pairs are all from Free People? They really have something for everyone’s taste. While these are a bit over my budget, I’m entertaining the idea of the investment because every pair is leather—- and we all know that makes for a long-lasting shoe. Anyone else having to restrain themselves from these beauties?

Fall Trend Report.
Embrace your inner urban cowgirl with a great fringe bag, a Western hat, and some lace up booties. Just wear one piece at a time or you’ll risk looking like you left Texas Roadhouse.
Go monochromatic with grey on grey, black on black, or my new favorite— red on red. Minimal accessories in neutral colors keep this look fresh.
Give your feet a break from stilettos and try some chunky heels! My arches are thanking me already. The heel height should be under 4.5 inches and over 2 inches, to make this 70s trend more modern.

If Money Was No Object

Today marks one month to Fashion Week, one month until I move back to my beloved NYC, and one month closer to the cooler weather. Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love it for its breezy, chilled mornings/ evenings, and sunny daytime hours. I love it for the sense of starting anew— back to school, back to work, back to a routine. And, I love it for the fashion— layers, cozy fabrics, boots, and makeup that won’t sweat off!

See what I love about these pieces and how I would incorporate them into my wardrobe, if money was no object.
